About

The aim of the Preschool Education Program is to train preschool teachers who evaluate the mental, language, motor, social, emotional and self-care skills of children aged between 0-6 and who support all areas of development and skills that provide services to children, family and community. Our Department also aims to contribute to the developments in national and international education and to carry out various studies in order to increase the pre-school education rate, which is still very low in our country.

Department of Preschool Education, Faculty of Education, Trakya University aims to educate individuals who are accoutered, responsible, have cultural and universal values, which are needed by the public and the private sector under the leadership of expert instructors. In addition, by offering research and projects and scientific publications, it aims to be a part in the field with its education quality, social and cultural opportunities both in national and international fields.

The Department of Primary School Education

Aim
Main objectives of our department are to acquire a position of leadership in the academic grading among the departments of Primary School Education, to carry out researches in order to develop new theories and practices and to publish them in academic literature and to train Primary School Teachers who are critical thinkers possessing leadership skills and capable of interdisciplinary collaboration and who are innovative and can produce original solutions.

Goal
The goal of this program is to educate individuals, who would be sensitive towards people, society and the nature, who would be aware of the impact of their individual and professional developments to society, who would be competent in their field and who would have ethical values, who would perceive continual improvement as the philosophy of their lives, who would embrace scientific thought, who would regard public policy, who would use information technology effectively, who could think creatively and critically, who would have the students acquire aesthetical sensitivities as elementary school teachers.
